The rifle uses a 5.56 caliber and supports various optics up to 6x scope. The effective range of the FAMAS is 400 meters.

Improved weapon balance

This time, changes were made to the AUG assault rifle. Now, this weapon can be found among the regular loot in the game. The AUG also now has increased bullet spread. Other stats have changed as follows:

  • Damage: 42 → 41
  • Rate of Fire: 700 → 750
  • Bullet speed: 940 m/s → 890 m/s
  • Effective range: 90~500 → 60~450

M416 damage has been reduced from 41 to 40. This assault rifle also now has increased vertical bullet spread.

Shotguns will now spawn 30% less often in normal matches and 20% less often in ranked games. Other types of weapons will spawn on the map instead.

Interface improvements

The game interface will advise the player to pick up specific equipment. For example, a scope or ammo that matches your weapon. You can turn off this feature in the game settings.

Other improvements

Steam will offer users to check the integrity of the game cache in case of corrupted game files, which fixes most in-game issues.
