When will PUBG Mobile 3.8 Update be released?
PUBG Mobile 3.8 Update will be released on May 8, 2025, for all Android and iOS users. On that day, the new Steampunk Frontier mode will go live, bringing railways and trains to Erangel. Players will be able to explore Aetherholm — a massive railway station. Inside the station’s main building, there’s an elevator that leads to a secret room containing valuable loot. On the train platform, you can summon a train that delivers a special cargo.
A new themed item will be introduced — the Magic Serum. Using the serum will temporarily turn you into a giant with a huge health pool. As a giant, you can perform powerful jump attacks and unleash devastating melee strikes.
Classic mode is also getting several exciting updates. Players will now be able to shoot one-handed weapons while driving motorcycles — and the bike will keep moving. A new item called the Portable Med Pack can be used to heal teammates and takes up a melee weapon slot.
There’s also a new throwable — the Sticky Bomb. It can be attached to vehicles and buildings. After a short delay, it explodes and deals massive damage. Additionally, players can now replace flat tires using a spare. Vehicles will now show a small warning explosion before the main one when they’re about to blow up.
In Metro Royale, new seasonal collectibles will be available, and players can now customize how their helmets and backpacks appear in the lobby.
